News travels fast, and news leaks travel even faster.
Thanks to midwest ebike dealer extraordinaire Crazy Lenny, we now have some previously unseen images and specs for 2016 models of BH’s Easy Motion ebikes:
Aside from the above photos, we know that the rear hub motors will be pushing out 500W (an increase from the 350W motors that Easy Motion has used in the past), most of the EVO models will sport 48V systems instead of the previous 36V, batteries have seen an increase in capacity to 500 watt-hours, GPS tracking has been enabled by integrating a GPS unit under the battery, and a new 80Nm Brose mid-drive motor is now powering all of the Easy Motion off-road models.
Easy Motion doesn’t seem to be too concerned about making a splash with product announcements lately, with their last update to their news section being made in September 2014 when they announced their 2015 model line at Interbike, but this may point to a possible roll-out at Interbike 2015, so we imagine we’ll be hearing more from Easy Motion about the new models in September.
Though the new models are not available for ordering yet, we imagine that Crazy Lenny will be stocking them soon enough right here. Feel free to join the discussion thread about the news leak over at Electric Bike Review’s Community forum.
