End Of Season Ebike Sales

BY Cameron Newland

New bicycle models tend to be announced in the early fall and launch the following spring, and most bike sales occur in the spring or summer, and as a result, bike shops tend to try and get rid of extra inventory in the fall so that they can make room for inventory from the following model year, and luckily for ebike buyers, this year is no exception.

Right now, Seattle Electric Bike is holding a fire sale (literally), with deals on IZIP, Stealth, ProdecoTech, Vanmoof, Focus, Polaris, and more, with discounts from 10%-50% off retail.

The midwest’s very well known high volume retailer, Crazy Lenny’s Ebikes, has an ongoing sale on 2014 models:

  • 2014 IZIP E3 Dash or the 2014 IZIP E3 Peak $1,580
  • 2014 Easy Motion Neo Cross $1,580, 2014 Neo Jumper $1,990
  • 2014 Stromer ST1 Elite $1,980, 2014 Haibike 29er $2,200
  • EG brand ebikes $750-900

Crazy Lenny’s Ebikes held a big warehouse sale in May with prices on Stromer ST1s as low as $1,900 (nearly 50% off retail!), Easy Motion ebikes like the Neo Cross for $1,480, and Schwinn Tailwinds for less than $500. That sale only went on for about a week, but savvy shoppers might be able to negotiate similar deals today.

Major northeast retailer Propel is having a sale on certain models from IZIP, Easy Motion, Raleign, Specialized, and more, with some models selling for more than 20%-off of retail price.

BH Easy Motion is offering a coupon for $500 off its Evo Jet and Evo Street models until September 30th, 2015.
